HIGHLY RECOMMENDED LIST
This is a list of people I had an incredible time working with in the past and highly recommend them as future hires from artists to game designers
Bernard Hwang: Game Designer
Bernard not one day would complain about the number of prototypes he has gone through for sometimes a single game project for a full-size team. Iteration is such an important part of the process and Bernard fully understands it. During my two years with Muffin Express Bernard showed exceptional responsibility for his design work in the game team, and showed that he listens to the team when changes need to be made in the style of the game.
You can see that Bernard is really passionate about his work in the amount of polish he has put into each one of his projects. He understands the small parts of game creation and that quality is not something that should be overlooked. |
Kelsey Canaga: 3d Character Artist, Concept and Producer
Specialty: Character Artist,Producer, Storyboard
Website: http://www.kcanaga.com Contact Info: [email protected] |
I'm blown away by how much dedication Kelsey had throughout the project, from researching the look and style of the film we were doing to creating a beautiful story and unique characters into this project. She poured her whole soul, blood, and tears into it and constantly kept the team motivated and encouraged us to get to a high bar. There were so many undercover things Kelsey has done that I can say she's touched every part of the project, supporting where she can and even assisting me in rendering and lighting passes. She even worked on early concepts and development for our film's final look.
I don't think our film would have turned out the way it did without her in our team. Please check out her site! Even if given a minor role in a team, Kelsey will shine and bring her best ideas to the table. |
Nemo Nemiroff: Rigger and Lead Animator
Nemo is a miracle come to life; she started on our project with minimal knowledge on rigging, so she read books for days and days until she had her actual rigging course at the start of our project. Every time she'd learn something new she could apply to our rigs and make them look really nice in animation. If there were issues we would come to her and she would apply all her knowledge to get these issues solved. Nemo worked incredibly well under pressure.
When our team decreased in size she took a lot upon herself to be the only lead animator and absolutely excelled. She led the team on a grand journey, organized |
Emily Baldado: Lead Concept Artist, Storyboard, 2D Effects
Specialty: Concept Artist, Color Script, 2D Effects,
Website: http://www.baldado.com/ Contact Info: [email protected] |
My work went hand-in-hand with Emily's job a lot of times; Her color script and concepts for the film led our whole team in the best direction it could be at. Her
sense of color, lighting, and composition was spot on and I found myself never fighting to get the same lighting and atmosphere as her illustrations. If I had any questions to her she was attentive and responded every detail. Emily's effects integrated well with our film and looked refined. She's the vampire responsible for all the blood in our film; no really. She did all the blood effects seen on screen in our whole film. When there are things to get done Emily puts her mind to it and powers through work. |
